The final countdown to Christmas is here! We’re less than a week away from the big holiday, and hopefully, you’re done with your Christmas shopping.
Like many Americans this year, I did some of my shopping online. Except for a few items, I bought most of my son’s Christmas presents online. I braved stores like Walmart and Target in person to buy gifts for my other relatives, and I went later in the evening in an attempt to miss some large crowds. It worked for the most part.
Presents and holiday shopping aside, this is my favorite time of year. The lights on the houses and trees, the feeling of love and peace, making hot cocoa, and the general feeling of being with your family on Christmas. What can I say? I’m a sentimental sucker.
Let’s go ahead and state the obvious that Christmas will be different this year due to the current pandemic. I imagine it will look a lot like Thanksgiving did – smaller gatherings, Zoom calls to see relatives, and everyone doing what they can to try to flatten the curve. Again. While none of this is ideal for many of us, we need to do this not only for our families but for each other.
The family with Albuquerque Plumbing Heating & Cooling will be spending time with our immediate families and loved ones, keeping the holiday spirit alive and doing what we can to stay safe this holiday season. We want to assure you that if you or your family members need any assistance this week, we’ve got the experienced plumbers and HVAC technicians to help you.
Now go deck those halls and don’t have too much fun wrapping all of those presents!
