Look no further for better plumbing services. Over a year ago these folks repaired and replaced all my sewer lines, as well as a re-pipe for an upstairs bathroom, putting in a new bathtub faucet fixture, and removing and replacing an old cast iron drain pipe. They also cleaned up beautifully. Expensive - yes - but all the estimates i got were about the same. Today I had a a downstairs bathtub /shower faucet repaired very quickly and efficiently - I called yesterday afternoon and it was repaired within the hour this morning. I used Angie's List to look for a plumber and was quite apprehensive based on reading so many negative reviews about how many dishonest plumbers are in Albuquerque. Albuquerque Plumbing, Heating & Cooling called and left a message for me and I called this morning. My toilet wasn't draining, after repeating plunging. Fore Gen Plumbing called and told me their starting price is $129 and I wouldn't find a lower price. They were wrong. This plumbing company quoted me $75 for auger service, from the toilet side. The auger didn't work, so the plumber offered $105 drain cleanout service. When the clog was cleared in 5 minutes, he told me the $105 included a 90-day warranty, free reservice if I have any more clogs, leaks, issues. Corey did an outstanding job, very impressed with his professionalism, courtesy, honesty and integrity. Not only did he call ahead, arrived early, he wore a mask and shoe covers.

Will Kleinstiver replaced an aging water heater, malfunctioning/very noisy hot-water recirculator, and leaking hose bib with new. The general contractor had failed to install stabilizing blocking inside the wall. We were worried Will would not be able to change out the hose bib without cutting into the new stucco but he finessed it so that wasn’t a problem. He also corrected the improper recirculator configuration from the remodeling general contractor, which had been problematic from the beginning. He explained everything in the proposal, why it was needed, and explained again during and after installation. The finished items work very well. Will scheduled the gas company inspector to review the work and issue the approval label. The inspector was very impressed by the new configuration (you’d have thought he was looking at a gleaming classic hot rod). It was a great experience and we’d definitely hire Albuquerque Plumbing, Heating, and Cooling for future needs.

He ran into some difficulties because my particular manufacturer wiring was not in a standard (wrt to other manufacturers) configuration. We had ABQ P&H install a HVAC system in our home in February. We had Josh come out to give us an estimate; he even met with us twice. Our initial assessment and bid by Josh Miller was fair and timely. Our radiant heat was failing and we had to decide between forced air heat & AC combo units or 10 electric heat pumps (mini splits). In a three level home the best solution was to go with two units to feed old swamp cooler ductwork and add additional return air and heat vents for heat and AC. Last week my AC stopped blowing cold air, so I called an HVAC company to get it fixed. I won’t name the company, but it starts with a D. The technician arrived and went up on my roof to inspect the combo unit. A few minutes later, he came to my door and told me I had a leak in my system and went on to give me a quote of $2300, just to find the leak.....by the end of our conversation, I was being scheduled with a salesman to discuss a new unit. I’m “oh great, here goes $8K-$10K. Since, I was looking at a huge investment, I thought I should spend another $120 and get a second opinion. That’s when I called ABQ Plumbing and Heating. That same day, Shane (technician) arrived and inspected my unit. It took him 5 minutes and returned to my door to tell my the seal around my schrader-valve had rotted and it was very obvious where the coolant had leaked out. He replaced the valve and added coolant, and was done in about 15 minutes it seems. The biggest part of the bill was the amount for the coolant. $450 and My AC is nice and cold again! Yesterday I woke up to an awful smell coming from my shower, smelled like sewer has to me. So I ran to the store and bought some drain cleaner, used it, ran all of my water to see if I could get anything to back up, but everything was flowing. So now I’m thinking I have a break in my line and the gas is coming up through the floor in my bathroom somehow. So I called ABQ Plumbing and Heating, and scheduled them to come out and run a camera through my line, for a flat rate of $225, (it would’ve only been $175 but I wanted a copy of the video). This morning Greg and Lain arrived at my house and began investigating. They then told me they didn’t think I would benefit by running the camera. Instead, the called Marcus, the guy who could fit through my very tight crawl space! Marcus went through and physically inspected and photographed my sewer line. There were no leaks and we’re not sure why the smell was soo bad. I’m cleaning and bleaching my traps, and hope it doesn’t happen again. Instead of just coming out and performing the work I had scheduled, and charging me. These guys changed it up got creative, and in the end saved me money once again! They’re professional and honest. After my two experiences with them, I am a loyal customer and will recommend them to everyone.

We had a leak upstairs that was leaking from a bathroom into our kitchen downstairs on a Saturday morning. Finding a plumber was pretty difficult on a Saturday morning, especially since our 1 year old was having a bday party at noon. We wanted to get the leak resolved prior to the party, so I spoke with various companies to see if any could assist me. Albuquerque PHC called me back (which I had not requested) and let me know that they had a technician by the name of Leonard who could come and repair the issue if I was still interested. Since I hadn't found anyone available, I was very happy to hear the call and felt like they went above and beyond to earn my services. Leonard arrived around 10am and inspected the situation and verified that he had all the parts on hand to complete the job and write up the estimate. He completed the job at 12:10, therefore he was able to get the issue fixed prior to the birthday party. After watching what he had to do to repair the issue and sweating of all the pipes, I was very glad that I did not attempt it myself! He was extremely professional and got the job done perfect on his first try! The service was a little pricey, but since I wanted a good job done with very little notice, It was well worth the money. I would highly recommend their services and Leonard as a plumber.

Certainly has made the monsoon season pleasant and much more bearable. I only have to set the thermostat at 75 or 76to stay cool all day. My old swamp cooler couldn’t even get the temperature down to 79 during the heat of the day if humidity was over about 35%. We are happy with our conversion.

One of my rentals, the furnace pilot light went out. I called them first, and they said they were booked until next week. I had been experiencing leaks throughout the house for a number of years. Depending on who you talk to, it was caused by defective copper. After the last major leak in January, I decided it was time to redo the plumbing in the entire house. This was not a decision made lightly. The most important criteria is that I wanted a quality job. Of the bids, this was not the cheapest. He pointed out a lot of mistakes that were made when the house was originally constructed and explained the material they use and their approach. At the risk of going on too long, they did exactly what they said they would do. They pulled permits with the county, followed all the code requirements. and really cleaned up all of the pipes and things in the garage. These guys are professionals. We moved to Albuquerque from out of State, and when the gas company came out to establish our service, it was discovered that our water heater did not meet code.
